“Autumn’s Touch”

June 16, 2010

I’m just back from an exciting few days in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A lovely, relaxed town situated next to Hot Springs National Park which I understand is the first national park in the USA. My paintings were presented to the public during the June evening art walk by Legacy Fine Art. “Autumn’s Touch” (36″x36″ acrylic on canvas) shown here is one of the paintings and another, “Autumn Outing” (shared with you in a previous blog post), is also there and was purchased before the evening was over. All this humbles me really as I simply relate to the images the way the canvas wants me to: if I’m struggling with a painting it’s because I’m not listening to the canvas as I need to.  Being in Hot Springs during the art walk allowed me to meet many of the people touring the galleries. Just shipped more paintings to Hot Springs.
